This week’s astrology forecast:
September 15th – 21st
Message for the week: All in all, a complex and rather tricky week in the heavens with the build up to the potent New Moon Solar Eclipse on Sunday at the final degree of Virgo. Solar Eclipses provide an opportunity for a cosmic reboot. This is an extremely potent eclipse by being exactly opposite the Saturn/Neptune conjunction and in a Grand Trine with Uranus and Pluto, forming the promising Kite pattern and the ability to soar above tensions.
Saturn issues are circumstantial and specific—like a toothache. Saturn has retrograded back into emotional Pisces, giving you feedback on what specific issues in your life are pulling your emotions down, holding you back, and need to be released (eclipsed).
The grand trine forms the wings of the kite and offers the path of resolution to the Saturn opposition. Use the Solar Eclipse like a cosmic eraser to clear away the past so that you can move forward with the New Moon.
The Autumn Equinox occurs Sunday at 12:54 PM PDT as the Sun Moves into Libra. A good equinox ceremony would be to write the issues you want to let go of on a piece of paper and then burn them in a fire or over a candle (safely).
Monday: A good day to pamper yourself and those you care about with the Moon in nurturing Cancer with no hindering aspects. Love, romance, and dating get a boost with the cosmic lovers, Venus and Mars, being in a sizzling sextile with each other—sparks fly.
Tuesday: A good morning to go out for brunch or have a special breakfast at home with the Moon in food-loving Cancer conjunct abundant Jupiter and forming sextile to the energizing Sun at the start of the day. There could be an argumentative flare up this afternoon that quickly gets resolved when the Moon squares Mars just before being sextile to Mercury. A smooth evening is in store with the Moon in a harmonious trine to stabilizing Saturn before moving into Leo late tonight.
Wednesday: You may have some tough decisions to make today with Mercury opposite restrictive Saturn. Saturn oppositions are always challenging, but they do bring clarity. To get the best of Saturn, ask yourself, “what would I do if I were the one in charge in this situation?” Spirits should stay high even through obstacles, with the Moon in radiant Leo with no aspects throughout the day.
Thursday: Mercury enters fair-minded Libra today, enhancing relationships and all cooperative endeavors. Mercury is also exactly opposite illusionary Neptune, making it difficult to know what is real and what is not—not a good time for making important decisions. The high road is accessible with Mercury being in a grand trine with Uranus and Pluto forming the kite pattern—the key is to invite spirit into your life rather than escape reality with otherworldly Neptune. The Moon is in big hearted Leo, facilitating keeping your spirits high and playful sense of humor at hand.
Friday: The Moon and Venus enter Virgo together this morning, restoring clarity and discernment—Virgo goes with what is real and tangible. There is an edginess in the air with the Moon square to rebellious Uranus—no one wants to put up with anyone’s guff. A good day to keep it real and walk lightly around others with this unpredictable energy.
Saturday: Another wild card day with Venus square to unpredictable Uranus, activating the “wild woman” archetype and the urge to liberate yourself from other people’s expectations. Meanwhile, the Moon is in down to earth Virgo, facilitating your ability to tend to the details of everyday life. An upbeat evening with the Moon moving into a harmonious sextile to optimistic Jupiter, but don’t plan on a late night with the Sun moving into opposition to restrictive Saturn.
Sunday: A most auspicious day with the New Moon Solar Eclipse in Virgo occurring at 12:54 PM PDT opposite the Saturn/Neptune conjunction. While the New Moon is typically the best time for new beginnings, the eclipse and the oppositions will reveal what specifically must first be let go of. The Moon enters harmony-seeking Libra shortly after the eclipse, opposite Neptune and trine to both Uranus and Pluto, forming the Kite pattern, facilitating the ability to find creative solutions to challenging situations and soar into the new you.
May the stars be with you!
