Message for the week: Shift!

Last week we had 5 planets conjunct in conservative Capricorn. By Friday, the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, and Pluto will all be in radical Aquarius. This will be another powerful week in the heavens when each of these planets move into Aquarius, they immediately conjunct transformative Pluto, one by one throughout the week, making everything seem more intense.

Capricorn aligns with the current status quo—Aquarius doesn’t. As the sign following Capricorn, Aquarius sees where the current status quo is not meeting the needs of all the people it’s meant to serve, and where the status quo is not taking advantage of future seeing individuals. Aquarius is the messenger, the alarm clock helping others wake up to needed social cultural changes.

There are also a considerable amount of flowing harmonious aspects this week, with Saturn, the ruling planet of Capricorn, being in a harmonious sextile to Uranus, the ruling planet of Aquarius, facilitating implementing innovative changes in your life for moving forward.

This is Neptune’s last week of being in Pisces, its strongest sign, moving into Aries next week for the next 14 years. A planet at the last degree of a sign is at its strongest and is more accessible this week with a stimulating sextile to the Sun/Mercury/Mars conjunction.  Spend a little time this week spacing out a bit to dance with the muses to access this inspirational energy of Neptune.

Monday: A potent day in the heavens with the Sun sextile to Neptune just before moving into Aquarius this evening. Venus is conjunct Pluto today, activating compelling relationships. Saturn is in a harmonious aspect to innovative Uranus, facilitating implementing changes in how you manage your life. Mars also is in harmony with both Saturn and Uranus, stabilizing and fortifying your courage. The Moon is in free-spirited Aquarius with no aspects, adding to the “time to make changes” vibe of the day.

Tuesday: Mercury is sextile to Neptune, just before moving into Aquarius this morning, getting its last bit of poetic inspiration before getting intellectually revved up in Aquarius. The Moon is in altruistic Aquarius sextile to Chiron, motivating the drive to help those in need. You might feel a bit antsy this afternoon and not willing to put up with any guff, while the Moon squares Uranus. The Moon moves into dreamy Pisces late tonight, facilitating a deep sleep.

Wednesday: The Sun and Mercury are conjunct in Aquarius, animating the mind and enhancing communications, networking, and brainstorming. This enhanced cerebral energy is balanced with the Moon in emotionally sensitive Pisces with no aspects throughout the day, enhancing compassion and empathy.

Thursday: You may start the day feeling strangely optimistic and hopeful with the Moon in idealistic Pisces in an uplifting trine to optimistic Jupiter. The mind gets supercharged with Mercury conjunct Pluto in Aquarius, activating an obsessive drive to know what is going on behind the curtain.  Mars is also in a flowing trine to Neptune, softening its normally aggressive ways—excellent for fluid movement, like dancing, swimming, walking, or Tai Chi.  

Friday: Another high-powered day with Mars entering socially conscious Aquarius joining the four other planets in the first seven degrees of Aquarius, and the Sun is conjunct Pluto in the middle of it all—fueling social activism and protests. The Moon enters “time to take action” Aries this morning in harmony with the five planets in Aquarius throughout the day, making for a good day to join with like-minded souls and standup for what you believe in.

Saturday: A fast-starting day with the Moon in “just get going” Aries. It is best to be self-directed to access the primal Aries energy—trust your gut instincts rather than cerebral plans. You may feel overwhelmed with too many opportunities this afternoon, while the Moon is square to excessive Jupiter—again, trust your gut.

Sunday: The Moon starts the day in Aries, moving into Taurus mid-morning—jump into the day and then drop into your own comfortable pace. It might be best to stay away from the news today with the Moon in an agitating square to the Mars/Pluto/Sun conjunction in Aquarius—social/political issues would likely be disturbing. A good day to practice the Aquarian motto of “different strokes for different folks” if you find yourself in deep resistance to others.
